Never forget to celebrate your small wins!
_

You hit a pb in the gym, you have a good day of healthy eating, you drop a few pounds, you win an award, you score a goal in your match or you achieve something in work that you have never done before.
_

This is something that people are adraid to do. They are scared to give themselves a pat on the back for something that they have done well. This is going to motivate you to achieve more.
_

A great analogy I heard once was imagine you are standing at the bottom of a mountain you are planning to climb. The initial task seems daunting, for some too hard, you turn away.. it goes into the ‘too hard’ basket. But if you break it down into manageable chunks with achievable goals the task becomes just that.
_

It’s like when you start the gym, that is a small WIN. Celebrate it. You lose your first 5lbs – another WIN. These might seem very small to some but you are breaking down your end goal into small wins leading to the big win when you achieve your biggest goal.
_

Last year I won an award at the Health and Fitness Awards for Breakthrough Personal Trainer of the Year. This was a big win for me. But it was the smaller wins that culminated in me winning the award. The client results, the mindset switches, the 12 hour days and the sacrifice I made that resulted in the big WIN.
_

Basically to summarise, celebrate every single small win or mini goal. By doing this you are going to see what success you can achieve. Success is motivating. If you can achieve lots of small goals, what is stopping you from achieving the big one?
_

Hope you have all have a class week.
